Peninsula Town Center, Hampton’s premier mixed-use, shopping and entertainment destination, is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing. This position develops a strategic marketing framework to direct all events, public relations, advertising, tourism and Guest Services initiatives. Marketing efforts rely heavily on social media networking. Experience with media networking is a must. This position requires a strong presence in generating programs that result in sales for tenants and communicate and maintain the standard for the Town Center brand. They will produce an annual Marketing Plan with well-defined objectives, strategies and tactics to reach specific customer constituencies. They must effectively manage marketing projects that achieve revenue goals.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field and experience in marketing, communications or advertising fields. They will preferably have a minimum of 3 years of shopping center / retail marketing experience as well as proven expertise in the development and management of marketing plans and projects.This is a deadline driven position that requires a high level of energy, organization, and professional communication. The position is full-time and includes a competitive benefits and compensation package.
