Peninsula Town Center Director of Marketing

Peninsula Town Center, Hampton’s premier mixed-use, shopping and entertainment destination, is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing.  

This position develops a strategic marketing framework to direct all events, public relations, advertising, tourism and Guest Services initiatives.   Marketing efforts rely heavily on social media networking.  Experience with media networking is a must.  This position requires a strong presence in generating programs that result in sales for tenants and communicate and maintain the standard for the Town Center brand. They will produce an annual Marketing Plan with well-defined objectives, strategies and tactics to reach specific customer constituencies.  They must effectively manage marketing projects that achieve revenue goals.

Qualifications:  Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field and experience in marketing, communications or advertising fields.  They will preferably have a minimum of 3 years of shopping center / retail marketing experience as well as proven expertise in the development and management of marketing plans and projects.

This is a deadline driven position that requires a high level of energy, organization, and professional communication.  The position is full-time and includes a competitive benefits and compensation package.

Peninsula Town Center Security Team

Peninsula Town Center Security Team has Part-Time Patrol Officer hours available:

Friday and Saturday ONLY from 1400 – 2200 hours. Total 16 hours weekly

Tues / Wed / Thurs  from 1700 – 2200 hours.  Total 15 hours weekly

SUMMARY: The role is responsible for assisting the General Store Manager and the Senior Assistant Store Manager operational duties and providing customer support for quality service, customer satisfaction and driving profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in recruiting efforts and interviewing process for all charmer available positions.

  • Will take an active role in training and development of employees

  •  Assists in distributing work assignments to Associates and ensures store maintenance, cleaning and appearance is up to company standards at all times
  • Maintains store-level compliance with company standards of safety, security, facility maintenance, postings/notifications and other administrative duties
  • Successfully address customer complaints and resolve problems
  • Assists the GSM and where applicable the Senior Assistant Store Manager in managing the CC Social Program to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets set for the social program

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 year managerial experience in a high volume/high unit, multi-million dollar fashion retail environment is required ; Relocatibility is preferred
